Leo B. Triplett

Idaho Spokesman-Review (Coeur d'Alene, ID) - Saturday, December 7, 1996

Funeral Mass for Leo B. Triplett, 80, will be held today at 11 a.m. at St. Pius Catholic Church in Coeur d'Alene. Burial will follow at Forest Cemetery, Riverview Section, in Coeur d'Alene. English Funeral Chapel in Coeur d'Alene is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Triplett, who was born in Nebraska, died Wednesday.

He had worked as a head cook in the Civilian Conservation Corps in South Dakota prior to moving to Coeur d'Alene in 1940.

Mr. Triplett was employed as a delivery worker for Golden Glow Dairy in Coeur d'Alene and also worked in carpenter construction for Varnum Construct, R.C. Worst and Stolas Construction. He later worked for the Potlatch Forest Rutledge Unit before retiring in 1979.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret; four sons, Robert Triplett of California, Ron Triplett of Hayden Lake, Idaho, and Ernest and Vince Triplett, both of Montana; four daughters, Patricia Rogers of Montana, Penny Sundberg of Coeur d'Alene, and Belva Ray and Bonnie Triplett, both of Post Falls; a sister, Marie Allen; 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
