Herman J. Crigger

1933, 1779, Lake Andes CO

Company No. 1776, Lake Andes, composed of War Veterans, S.D. Capt. Herman J. Crigger, 17th Field Artillery, USA, Commander. Seventh Corps Area included Kansas, Arkansas, Iowa, Nebraska, Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota. Capt. Crigger entered the Army as a 2nd Lieutenant through the Third Officers Training Camp. He was promoted to Captain in 1932.
