Chester Robert Rudd

Chester Robert Rudd, 75, of Wyoming, MI, died Tuesday, June 26, 1990. The Mass of Christian Burial was held on Friday, June 29, at Holy Name Church.

Chester was born March 15, 1915. He worked for the Teamsters Local in Grand Rapids and was a member of the Elks Country Club and the Knights of Columbus.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Roberta Hopkins, and a brother, Charles Rudd of Miller, South Dakota.

Survivors include his wife, Mildred Rudd; his grandchildren, Lori Hopkins, Dennis and Jodi Hopkins and Robert Hopkins; a great-grandson, Nicolas; a brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Paul and Delores Augustine and Marcella Andrews; and several nieces and nephews.

Chester attended Miller, SD High School, and returned each fall to the Miller area to visit friends and cousins, the late Stuart Rudd, Mary Wherry, Gladys Engle and many great-nieces and nephews.
