Este Ripples - September 1941

"YOU MAY N0T BELIEVE THIS, BUT"

This issue of the Este Ripples states that the farmer with the heavily loaded wagon brought his team to a halt at the top of Iron Mountain.

"Boy!" exclaimed one of the horses to the other, "That was a tough pull". The farmer spoke aloud to himself in amazement. 'That's the first time I heard a horse talk."

"Me too", said the dog under the wagon, "I first thought it was the bark of a single tree, or perhaps a wheel spoke. But you have witnesses, for I know the cow herd, and the corn was all ears."

(This story was carefully checked for veracity by the Este Ripples Foundation for Truth).
