Robert Wilbur Cosby (Bob)

Robert W Cosby, 76 years, was born to Orrie and Myrtle Cosby at Huron SD Dec 29, 1915.

Bob attended public schools and graduated from Wessington Springs high school in 1935. He went to CCC Camp in 1934 and was employed as a mechanic during the 30s. in 1936 he was employed in a paper factory in Longview Washington.

On March 16, 1941 Bob married Violet (Peg) Pagel in New Castle Wyoming. California was their home for several years, as he was employed in the shipyards. One son was born to this union, Ronald Cosby who resides in Billings Montana.

Bob was employed in auto repair for many years, Jerauld County Maintenance before retirement in 1978. Since then he has enjoyed many hobbies and travel. He was a member of the UCC Church, Frontier Lodge AFAM #87, also OES Vesper Chapter #81.

Survivors Include his wife Peg, son Ronald, Billings MT, 4 Grandchildren, 3 Great grandchildren all from Billings Mt. 6 sisters, Evelyn Gilliland, Watertown SD, Dorothey Fink, Port Orchard WA, Hazel Fink. Garden Grove CA, Velma Bennett, Yankton SD, Maybelle Tyrell, Pheonix AZ, Connie Barber, Wessington Springs SD. He was preceded in death by both his parents, four brothers and three sisters.
