George A. Smit

The family of George A. Smit visited the Civilian Conservation Corps Museum of South Dakota and brought a very nice shadow box to view. Mr. Smit’s name was not included with the names of men that served during the depression era program. His service was verified by examining the photos and items in the display.

The display was created by Mr. Smit’s granddaughter and is shown below. Thank you for showing us this wonderful family keepsake.
