Cpt. Francis E. Judkins

1939, 4723, Lacreek, BF-3, CO. 4th Inf Res

Capt. Francis E. Judkins, 4th Inf Res, who has been on duty for the last two years in camps in Glacier National Park, Montana, arrived from Fort Lincoln, N. Dak., May 8, 1939, to assume command of Co. 4723. His last command was at Ballentine, Montana.

Captain Judkins enlisted in the Army in 1915. Later, when the European war, began, he served with the A. E. F. until 1920 and was discharged with a Second Lieutenant's commission.

In 1926 he again entered the employe of the War Department and has been in that service in various duties since that time.

Captain Judkins has begun many improvements in the Lacreek camp. He intends to build it up to a high standard of appearance and efficiency.
