Rick Hudson - Harney Peak Memories

In 2012 George Roe visited the CCC Museum of South Dakota. That same year Rick Hudson, Recreation, Wilderness & Trails Special Uses Program Manager, Black Hills National Forest, took Mr. Roe to the top of Harney Peak. George Roe was 92 years old.

On September 28, 2021, Rick Hudson visited the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) Museum of South Dakota. Available for visitors to read was the article that described George Roe's trip with Hudson to the top of Harney. The museum website also includes the video interview of Roe by Hudson. The video, the article, and the fellow that made it happen.
