Henry Kauth CCC Documents

Henry John Kauth was in the CCC at camps Roubaix and Fruitdale (Orman Dam) in the years 1940, 1941 and 1942. He was a truck driver and mechanic during his Civilian Conservation Corps service. Fred S Owens was the shop foreman for the Bureau of Reclamation and sign a letter of recommendation on March 30, 1942 stating that Henry Kauth was an efficient worker and a pleasant industrious man.

Copies of these documents where sent to the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) Museum of South Dakota by Henry John Kauth's daughter Conleth Bailey.
