Black Hills Echoes April 1942

On the 20th day of April five enrollees left Company 762 to accept a defense job at the Rapid City Airbase. The boys have Mr. Morris to thank for their jobs because he made the arrangements for them. They are helping a gang of surveyors and report that they like the work they are doing. The fellow's names are as follows; Bailey, Hauge, Mudder, Sobieszczyk, and Zink.

We know that they are doing as much as possible for the defense of our country and hope that every man in camp is doing his bit to help preserve the freedom of the United States.

The appearance of the boys was much improved during the month of April with the presence of a barber from Rapid City.
