Information below provided by Leo V. Geaghan.

"Joseph Peter Geaghan was born in Dixon, Gregory County, South Dakota in March of 1916, and passed away in May of 1991. He lived in Gregory, Gregory County, South Dakota, was married and the father of seven sons, and seven daughters. Prior to becoming an amazing finish carpenter, he drove truck for Swift in the late 30’s and early 40’s. He played baseball in younger years, was a coach/player, and umpired hundreds of games in Gregory. He often spoke of his CCC Days and had some great stories. He was an awesome father."
