Elmer A. Frobom

Elmer A. Frobom, age 91, of Boyceville, WI and formerly of Minneapolis, MN died Saturday, Nov. 18, 2006 at the American Lutheran Home in Menomonie.

He was born April 7, 1915 in New Leipzig, North Dakota to Erik and Venla (Kyt) Frobom. Elmer married Esther Gregerson on August 23, 1957 in Minneapolis, MN. They resided in Minneapolis and Elmer worked as a landscaper for the University of Minnesota, until retiring in 1982.

Elmer loved gardening and also enjoyed the study of foreign languages. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Elmer is survived by: His wife, Esther; son, Mark Frobom of Boyceville, WI; sister, Ethel Meyers of Minneapolis, MN; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 4 brothers, Evert, Aarnie, Leo and Eric; a sister, Helvi Mack and an infant sister, Lila.

There was a Memorial Service on Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2006 at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie, with Rev. Amy Teske officiating.
