Stanton Labrie Clark (Stan)

Minnehaha, SD

Stanton Labrie Clark was born June 1, 1902 in San Jose, California, son of Samuel Wesley Clark and Daisy Gertrude (Labrie) Clark. He was the twin brother of Sterling Huntington Clark and bother of Elmer Alfred Clark. On September 16, 1930, Stanton married Mary Olive (Walz) Clark in Minnehaha County, South Dakota. They had three children during their marriage. Stanton Labrie Clark died on May 31, 1962, in South Dakota at the age of 59, and was buried in Black Hills National Cemetery, Sturgis, South Dakota.

Stanton Clark supervised CCC induction as state selection officer and reach the rank of Colonel serving in the US Army during World War II.
