Vern George Dashel

The following was provided by Mr. Dashel's daughter:

"Vern G. Dashel lived in Aberdeen, South Dakota his entire life prior to moving to Washington after WW11. He graduated from Central High School in 1939. He was in the CCC's before enlisting in the Navy on 09/30/1942 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He passed away in Reno, NV on February 23, 1991 and is interred in the Veterans Cemetery in Fernley, NV. His wife, my mom, Helen Doris (McDonald) Dashel also a native of South Dakota, passed away on 09/05/2018 and is interred with him."
