Earl Delbert Drake

Earl Delbert Drake was born September 30, 1915, and died September 4, 2003 at the age of 87. He is buried in the Dexter Cemetery, Florence, Codington County, SD.

Earl Drake was in the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) in 1936. He was a farm boy from Waubay, South Dakota at the time of his enrollment. He later served in World War II.

Copies of letters that he wrote have been forwarded to the CCC Museum of South Dakota by his daughter Diane Drake.
