Everette John Muth

Everette J. Muth, 69, of Ethan died Wednesday December 21, 1988 in St. Joseph's Hospital, Mitchell.

He was born June 7, 1919, in Ethan. He married Lucille Weber on May 7, 1946, in Dimock; she died in 1962.

He married Mary Andersen on Nov. 8, 1968, in Ethan. He worked at the Ethan School from 1968 to 1981 and was employed with Muth Electric in Mitchell at the time of his death.

He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, the American Legion and was a World War II veteran, serving in the South Pacific.

Survivors include his wife; six sons: Dick, of Ethan; Don, of Valley Springs; Chuck and Paul, both of Mitchell; and Dan and Tom, both of Rapid City; one daughter, Joan Muth, of Sioux Falls; 19 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; two stepsons: Gene Andersen, Anoka, Minn.; and Will Andersen, of Mitchell; two brothers: Martin, of Wolsey; and Joe, of Donnybrook, N.D.; and two sisters: Mrs. Jim (Jenelle) Schoenfelder, Mount Vernon; and Mrs. Glenn, (Dorothy) Novak, Dover, Ark.
