Russell E Alexander was born September 28, 1911 and passed away November 20, 1987 at the age of 76. He is buried in the Riverside Memorial Cemetery, Aberdeen, South Dakota.

Russ married Naomi in 1939 and moved to California. Naomi Alexander worked on bombers during WWII. Russell enlisted in the Navy after the bombing of Peal Harbor in 1942. When he shipped out, Naomi stayed in California and began working at North American Aviation. She worked on the B25 Bomber and P51 Mustang. Naomi worked on the final assembly, autopilot and inspections in the cock pit.
