Services for Oscar E. Barrow, 82, of Elkhart, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Elkhart Christian Church with burial in Elkhart Cemetery

Mr. Barrow died Sunday February 1, 1981 at Veterans Administration Medical Center.

Born in Chariton, Mr. Barrow was a retired Disciples of Christ minister. He lived in South Dakota and Iowa most of his life, retiring as minister of the Maxwell Christian Church.

He was a graduate of Drake University Divinity School and was a member of Liscomb Masonic Lodge and Ankeny American Legion. He was a veteran of World War I.

Survivors include his wife, Ruby; two daughters, Helen Parks of Lake Oswego, Ore., and Ruth Blunt of Lompoc, Calif.; 13 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to Elkhart Christian Church or to Maxwell Christian Church.
